UMIC has a unique range of modern and versatile facilities within its Core Technology Facility. Located close to The University of Manchester and the vibrant city centre, the CTF offers a spacious and impressive setting for your event.

A focal point of the facilities is the striking Street area, ideal for delegate registration, informal breakout and networking events, drinks receptions and exhibitions. The impressive Egg conference room accommodates around 100 seated delegates. It features an integral media wall, projector and satellite TV. All rooms have integrated media screens, overhead projectors, a telephone and wireless internet. All standard AV equipment is included in the room hire price, and IT support is available as an optional extra. White boards, flip charts and stationery are available. All meeting rooms have individually controlled air conditioning, and are soundproof.

We can arrange catering with our on-site caterers on your behalf, working with you to discuss your requirements, from breakfast meetings to formal dinners. Menus are available on request. Hickman’s Restaurant offers an alternative breakout option for meals and refreshments. This venue is also available for events.
